BOAT INSURANCE
Wherever you go,
we’re on board
The following coverage options are available with your providers
pleasure boat owners policy:

Physical damage coverage You have several options for
covering total losses: actual cash value, replacement cost, or
agreed value coverage for your boat, motor, trolling motor,
trailer, and permanent and portable boating equipment (subject to
certain limitations). Partial losses are not subject to
depreciation, except batteries, sails, plastic and canvas
coverings, outdrive units and outboard motors more than five years
old, and personal watercraft. Coverage for fishing equipment, such
as rods, reels, lures, tackle boxes and electronic gear, is
available separately.
Medical payments Medical payments coverage may pay for
reasonable and necessary medical expenses for you and your
passengers caused by an accident in the insured boat/watercraft.
Liability to others and the environment Optional liability
coverage may provide "third party" coverage arising out of the use
of owned and non-owned boats. Pollution liability coverage pays
for unintentional oil or fuel spills that result in bodily injury
or property damage and for which the insured becomes legally
responsible because of an accident arising out of the ownership,
maintenance, or use of the insured watercraft.
Uninsured boaters Coverage protects against bodily injury
to you or other boat occupants due to an accident caused by an
uninsured boater.
Rental reimbursement Coverage to reimburse you (up to your
policy limit) for a rental boat if your boat is disabled for more
than 24 hours due to a covered loss.
Fishing equipment Protection for rods, reels, lures, tackle
boxes, and electronic gear.
On-water towing and labor Coverage to help pay for towing a
disabled boat back to dry land.
Roadside emergency service Coverage to pay for towing and
labor for covered emergencies.
